The Italian tannery we have selected for the production of our bags boasts numerous international certifications that guarantee the excellence and sustainability of its processes. We use one of the most prized and sought-after leathers for luxury leather goods, made from full-grain nappa leather. The bovine leather is treated with a semi-aniline finish, preserving its natural grain, giving the product a refined look and a soft texture to the touch.

LEATHER CERTIFICATIONS

Leather Working Group (LWG) Gold Rating: Questo certificato ambientale e di sicurezza è il punteggio massimo conferito dall’ente internazionale LWG, che valuta la conformità alle pratiche sostenibili nell’industria della pelle. Il Gold Rating attesta l’impegno della conceria verso l’ambiente, la sicurezza e la responsabilità sociale.

Marine Equipment (Council Directive 2014/90/EU): Conosciuta anche come Direttiva Equipaggiamenti Marittimi (MED), questa certificazione stabilisce criteri di sicurezza per gli equipaggiamenti a bordo delle navi, assicurando standard uniformi per la sicurezza marittima nell’Unione Europea.

Leather Standard Oeko-Texrecognition that ensures the leather used is free of harmful chemicals, ensuring a final product that is safe for health and respectful of the environment.

Der Blauer EngelA German government certification that rewards products and services with reduced environmental impact. The tannery obtained this certificate due to its sustainable practices in leather production, safeguarding both the environment and human health.
